3M Universal Anti-Slip Tape – Black, 20m

3M Universal Anti-Slip Tape 50mm / 25 mm width and 20m length is high friction, mineral-coated, slip-resistant material adhered by a durable resin to a pressure-sensitive adhesive-backed plastic film. The product is designed to help prevent slips and trips in the workplace by providing the necessary grip on slippery surfaces. With their self-adhesive backing, they are quick and easy to apply, offering a cost-effective and durable solution for the application.

Slips and trips are the most common cause of major injuries to employees at work and represent a substantial cost to employers each year. Most occur in wet, oily, or dirty conditions on both level surfaces and ramps. The solution in many cases is simple and cost-effective.

The product is available in different lengths and colors

1. Carefully clean the surface.
2. Make sure surface is clean,dry and not broken.
3. First prime the surface then star applying the tape.
4. Individual pieces should be spaced a minimum of 12 mm apart and a maximum of 50 mm apart.
5. Peel protective liner back about 50 mm from one end and position piece on surface.Note: minimize touching (contaminating) adhesive with fingers.
6. Finally press into firm contact with surface using a rubber hand roller by starting in middle and rolling out towards edges.

Warning: On steps, apply 3M Safety-Walk materials 12 to 15 mm from stair edge to prevent edge curl and premature wear.
