3M VHB 4905 is a double-sided tape from 3M™ VHB™ Tapes Family, which is crystal clear color. It is commonly used in applications requiring aesthetics because of bonding transparent materials. This trusted tape offers a long-term bond with excellent UV, solvent and moisture resistance in a wide range of temperatures.
Due to its viscoelasticity, 3M VHB 4905 is perfect to join materials which daily are under vibrations. It can be used in outdoor and indoor applications to join dissimilar materials with different linear expansion as glass, plastics, composite materials, metal and so on.
This 1.1 mm thickness VHB tape has general purpose adhesive and firm acrylic foam that offers a good balance of strength and long-term durability.

Bonding technique
Before start of bonding materials must be well clean and dry. For cleaning is recommended to use a mixture of 50:50 isopropyl alcohol and water.
Press several times carefully, also you can use roller. Do not bond at temperatures below 10°C. Ideal application temperature range is from 21°C to 38°C.
